Luton / Forest

After Everton got points back , the state of play is Sheffield Utd and Burnley are gone so for me it’s between Luton and Forest for the last place, I believe Forest will get 6 points deduction and if we beat them at home as Ithimk we will we still have a chance of staying up.

Everton will hopefully get another deduction though. If Everton get another 6 and Forest 6 then I think we need 33 to finish in front of Everton and 35 to finish in front of Forest

Premier League rules say they have to. I don’t think the PL want to open themselves to legal challenges by breaking their own rules

It's a case of cheats prosper. Their cheating has gained them way more than 6 points. It makes footballing sense for clubs to break the rules and just take the 6 point hit.

They are both 8 points above us with 13 games of the season left. No way are we catching either of those unless they have a really spectacular collapse
And I don't think they will

probably but particularly bournemouth feel a bit over rated despite their short burst of being Real Madrid before Xmas

They gave City a right game at the weekend. I think they'll be fine
Hope you're right, of course but I can't see it. Maybe more chance of catching Palace but they've probably sacked Hodgson just in time

We have to play Bournemouth twice yet....

I fancy us at home against them. Away not so much. Not being a pessimist, just trying to be realistic
I think we can stay up. We're a little bit better than the 20 points we have would suggest. But March is vital

I think the severity of injuries will be pivotal. Looks like Lakonga should be ok for now but what about Adebayo? Not to mention if we get any others which we almost certainly will. I'd play the whole reserve team tomorrow night and concentrate everything on securing staying up now.

Yep we need lots of luck with injuries. Who knows on Adebayo. Hopefully he and Lokonga will be back at the weekend
But if Adebayo is out for any length of time I think we need a re-think up front and play Morris as the lone striker with pace or trickery or know-how for the 2 behind Morris - 2 from Chong, Townsend, Clark and Ogbene (if the Japanese lad is available at right back tomorrow and we'll obviously have Kabore as an option there when we're not playing Man City)
