Sir John Still took over as manager.

    Favourite moment under him?

For me you can pick any of those wins in the conference promotion season.

We were an absolute joy to watch.

          Two for me.

Alfreton away, that just had the feeling about it that something special was happening, didn't hurt that it was the first time that I saw a certain player who is still with us of course!

Away to Braintree, having seen the team surrender miserably while being watched by new managers, seeing a John Still team work so hard to get a win there was magic. Walking close enough to the team huddle after the game and hearing some of what he said to the team . . . it just felt like everything was right with Luton Town!

Alfreton away was class. 4-0 inside about 18 mins!

            Guttridge ruined them that day!

Cambridge away also deserves a mention!

              Indeed!

Cambridge, even though it wasn't a great performance overall, had a very special ending.

I spent 15mins chatting to him and his sidekick at the end of season doo the season we went up. he took me through the whole process how he managed to get Pelly from loan to permanent. Unfortunately cant remember mush of it as my mate bought a bottle of Champs for us!

Yeah, and a fortnight after he was appointed we lost 2-1 at home to Hyde and we all thought ‘what the hell is going on?’

For me, smashing Kidderminster at home around the Xmas period.

They weren't a bad side and it made me start to think we were on the verge of something special. It was also one of Pellys first games and he looked class.

Yeah I remember that game well, felt like things were finally turning back towards the light.

Chey Dunkley was sent off in that game but the ref, initially, got the wrong man and had to recall him and send off Dunkley instead.

Oh yeah. Didn't Kiddy have Joe Lolley playing in that game?

Yes. Also, Amari Morgan-Smith and the man who scored the second goal in the game that confirmed our promotion, Michael Gash.
