Or he wouldn't get on the pitch

+1 I think he can definitely do a job, not sure he's lasting 90mins though

He's on the pitch because Nakamba and Lokonga are injured. Lovable character but this level is beyond him.

          Spot on.

He was lost yesterday and other games.

Anyone would think on here itís a personal attack.

They could have scored 3 o4 4 before half-time but fluffed chances.

The clean sheet wasn't just down to Sambi.

              Never claimed it was.

He helps defensively big time and is very composed on the ball.

Pelli offers nothing of the sort.

Not his fault as this level is way beyond him understandably.

Thatís why we will likely go down. Nowt else to add.

                  New name, usual shit.

Why is it that you people can't present a consistent face on here? Inevitably, it makes other posters suspicious of both motives and message. So the merit of your opinion of Pelly is of course diluted

Always an outbreak of such behaviour after (and during) a defeat.

                    It starts.

You use different names but instead of getting bogged down on bullshit, did i post anything that you donít agree with?

You believe he is good enough? Fair enough then post that.

I'll post the reply I wish to make, not the one you want me to make. It's a comment on the tiresome negativity of you 'new name, same shit' types

What's sauce for the goose etc. Like it or lump it.

Rest of football world is lauding Luton for last night's performance etc.. some of our own fans are concentrating on finding negatives.

You should take a look at some of the reports and comments from Liverpool supporters and others.

Not to mention West Ham supporters using our performance as a stick to beat Moyes, questioning why we go and give Liverpool a game when they won't.

What is the obvious? Yep, we lost. Yep we struggled to cope. That was obvious to all. What else was obvious?

Amazing negativity from some quarters in response to a defeat at a ground we have never won at, against one of the Top 2 sides in the country.

Played well alongside Barkley at home to Arsenal.

Is he as good as Lokonga? No. Is he decent replacement? Yep.

I doubt we would have held out with those players & that crowd for 53 mins with Sambi playing 2nd half either.

Agree. Liverpool raised their level and it was too much to handle no matter who was on the pitch.
