    Anyway, last night

Some times you've got to hold your hands up and say we were totally outplayed by a far better team. I can't stand the bin dippers tbh but must admit, it's an impressive ground nowadays and the noise they made in the 2nd half is the loudest I've heard for as long as I can remember. Literally had to shout to my lad so he could hear what I was saying despite him standing next to me.

    We go again.

    Forza Pelly Ruddock.

At the start of the season game like Liverpool I considered as no chancers, we'll get our points elsewhere.
Over two games against them, we've been in front for longer than they have. Only a 97th minute equaliser stopped us bagging three points out of six. The one point we did get was, is,a bonus.

The way they started the second half was frightening.

All credit, I think they'll win the league this year.

Same. I liked the way the whole ground sang as one. Definitely the best support I've experienced. Superb stadium as well, and the ones I spoke to were friendly enough. I really hope Adebayo is going to be ok for the run in, and Lakonga. Not sure why RE didn't bring Burke on as we seemed to be struggling with the aerial threat from corners and would've thought he could help deal with that. Doughty probably needs a rest he's looked a bit tired since Sheff Utd. Not expecting anything from City or Villa but we need to get something from the next few games after that. Regarding Adebayo if it comes to it we should recall Taylor at least as a contingency because Woodrow isn't enough unfortunately.

Yep. Think I'm on my 37th season watching us and I can't think of a set of supporters that have created more noise than they did last night. If they're like that against Luton, fýck knows what it's like on a big European night!!

We can't recall Taylor outside of a transfer window

Even if we could, he couldn't play for us this season as he's already played for two clubs

Right, we're a bit fooked then until Adebayo gets back.

Need something in the Villa game for confidence as much as anything

Their away form is patchy so hope we catch them on a bad day

We will survive if we minimise the defensive errors but we need Lokonga healthy and Adebayo back

If we play like we can to the best of our abilities we can get something against Villa definitely. The players are human though and it's not very fair to expect them to be capable of playing like they did against Brighton every game. It'll be what it will be. We just need to support them and hope for the best.

They are human and I'm not expecting them to replicate Brighton every game

But that is the standard they know they can reach. They now know they are capable of that

We need to minimise defensive mistakes. As I said before, we are almost a decent team at this level but are conceding soft goals at bad times (not necessarily talking about last night but certainly the previous 3 games)
