    Pep Guardiola

Is he really the best manager in the world?

I wonder how he'd fair at Accrington Stanley, Rochdale or even Everton for that matter. Managing clubs with players with big egos is certainly a challenge but so is managing clubs with zero money to spend. It's why John Still is so excellent although we had more money to spend than others in the lower league it's still peanuts.

It takes more than just money. Ask Manu why they've achieved so little once Fergie retired.

Yes it does take more than money. I'm not disputing he's a good manager, my beef is about him being touted as as potentially the GOAT without him probably able to do it at Morecambe.

A few weeks at the allotments would test him

          Never going to happen.

So many of the over-hyped managerial greats of today start near the top with a fat cheque book behind them and a fawning media pack to promote them endlessly.

Clough and Ferguson might've spent plenty in their time but they both proved they could be successful without.
