    Great performance yesterday

Thought we played extremely well, especially from 10 mins in to ht. Second half we looked a little exhausted and to be honest, Man United should have scored 3 or 4 in that half. However, they could not have complained if we'd snatched an equaliser.

Ridiculous that Casemiro wasn't sent off. The only reason I can think of (and no it wasn't a conspiracy) was that the foul was just after his marginally harsh first yellow. Had it been five minutes later or his first yellow stonewall, he's off.

We're playing extremely well and have a real chance of staying up. My only concern is that we seem to be able to really compete with (but not beat) teams who we're the clear underdogs against. But, against Sheffield United, let's be honest, we froze, certainly once we went behind. There's lots of winnable home games left, but only if we play close to or at the level we have against the big boys.

Wednesday is a free shot and I'll be astonished if we don't lose. Villa is also a tough game. But, we then have Palace (A), Bournemouth (A) and Forest (H) before the international break. We really need to be looking at 5 - 6 points from those three. If we can be at 25/26 points with 9 games to go, survival is definitely on.

9 points from those 3 probably.

14 games left & four are Liverpool, City, Spurs & Arsenal away.

10 other games, so probably need to win 6 of them at least to be sure.

Any game against other sides down bottom is essentially a must win now.

I donít see us staying up without points deductions, but with say 6 points off for Forest and 12 for Everton then I reckon 35 points would be ok - so 4 wins, 3 draws, 3 defeats from the non big 6 games. Thought obviously there are games in those 10 where a draft would be more damaging and a win would have a greater impact (Everton, Forest at home, Palace away).

        marginally harsh first yellow

Even if it was (I don't think that it was), there was an !accumulation" of fouls, not just the one that he was booked for.

Quite right. The foul for which he was booked was not as bad as his immediately preceding foul. I assumed the yellow was for persistent foul play. The subsequent foul was worthy of a second yellow and therefore an early bath.

Should have gone. Why no VAR intervention? High tackle definate yellow card.

            Hope the ref is relegated

Ref was useless, think he was star struck

VAR can't intervene on yellow cards. It could have intervened if it considered that a straight red was justified as in the case of Holgate for Sheffield United yesterday.

They don't use VAR unless it is to confirm a straight red I think. Yellow card offences, even if they would result in a red, don't get reviewed.
