    Post Drink/Match Thoughts

(Watched the game with a "passionate Man Utd fan" colleague of my gf, who spent the whole fucking game chatting in Polish together.)

Doughty/Ogbene endlessly pumped balls into the box today with nobody there. Missed Adebayo BADLY. With him, we win today, imo.

Our possession and relentless attack was beautiful to watch, but it felt like we're going forward to cover up for having nothing at the back.

Bell made an atrocious mistake. Chins up, etc, but there's been so many times we've fallen asleep this season. Surely there's been 5 points from random shit like this. No blame, but it's frustrating.

Woodrow was invisible, bounced off players in the box, and gave us nothing, imo. It felt like we had 4 players pumping balls into a space nobody wanted to be in.

Clark running through like 6 Man Utd players = glorious. The fact he didn't get a look in during the start of the season, and just does shit like this, it's amazing.

Kaminski = amazing. His precision in the 1 on 1s bought us just enough time to get defenders to save the day.

Great game, fucking hell. No way we go down. Oh , and Barkley is ridiclous.

Like others have said, I agree with all of that apart from the Woodrow comments. He's being criticised because he's not Elijah basically. Woodrow is a completely different kind of player.
He ran his bollox off yesterday.

I'd be more concerned about what your bird and her work colleague were planning in Polish mate.....

As others have said, he didn't get a look in because he was injured.

I agree with it all except Woodrow..I thought he did reasonably well, he's never going to be a threat from crosses in the box like Adebayo or Morris.

The weakness in playing Morris in that deeper/wider role is that he isn't on the penalty spot waiting for the header.

He threw in a few crosses yesterday, but with him crossing there was no one to actually head it

Have to disagree about Woodrow. I thought the work he put in was immense in my opinion on and off the ball. Great game with so much effort from our lads. Thatís all I could ask for. Apart from the result of course.

100% correct. Can't understand why he's the target. If you can't see the hard work he put in yesterday give your ticket up for someone else!

It's not his work rate that's in question, it's his football ability.

Bet you're one of the people who were saying the same thing about Elijah this time last year.

                    This time last year?

This time three or four months ago, more like.

              He was injured many months,
His PL debut was the Man U away as sub (?)

Clark didn't get a look early on because he injured his ankle in pre-season. He's become a first teamer very quickly after returning from injury. Agree with everything else you said!

When in Rome... Pretty sure she heads in a 2-2 mega header with those legs today up front.
