      Sid's a bit obvious, Butterworth played some great roles, the butler in Follow that Camel most notably

        I know Sid is obvious,but you wouldnt have a list of Coronation Street characters and not have say Ken Barlow in it would ya?Boring cunt admittedly but Ken Barlow is Coronation Street in the same way that Sid James is Carry on films

          Agreed, just saying I could easily have gone for Sid or Williams but always been a big fan of one of the lesser lights like Butterworth or Breslaw

                He was married to June Brown,very underrated the carry on films,kenneth Cope and Bill Maynard pop up in them
