    Remaining home games

Looking at our remaining away fixtures I think we will do well to get more than 4/5 points.

So I think we need to be looking at minimum 15 points from our final 8 at home. Considering how we have played at home since Liverpool, coupled with who we have left to play at home, I really think we can do it. What an achievement it would be.

yes I agree. There are no easy games but obviously some games are easier than others. Obviously
Sheffield, Bournemouth, Everton, Forest, Fulham, Brentford at home are target games for us. Away from home Palace is possible target game.

There are a couple of "wild card" type games which could be draws or even a win if we have a great day - in particularly Villa at home - they seem to run out of steam a bit and perhaps West Ham away - they can be a bit a hot and cold.

Realistically the top teams away is just going to be damage limitations

In order for the game to interest me I need it touse logic and process of elimination, that's why I'm a fan of miensweeper, check out 1000mines.com. As you open more cells and locate mines, you can further narrow down the possibilities for the remaining closed cells. By logically analyzing the playing field and eliminating impossible mine placements, you can reach a point where every cell can be safely discovered.

I realize we're talking mostly about sports here, but I'd like to talk about a sport for the mind, namely the game of mahjong. I usually play mahjong just before important competitions because it teaches me concentration and calmness and helps my thoughts in my head to organize. What do you usually play?

Bournemouth away a possible target too. I also think we can beat Man United at home.

West Ham away could be a win.

Yes I suppose Bournemouth are an unknown quantity - a few weeks ago they were seen as second coming of peak Barca - Man U are serial under achievers but to be honest if their good players actually turn up and perform they should realistically beat us - but agreed both of them are in the "wild card" category

I think we’ll end up around the 40 points area. I think the general consensus is 38 and you’re safe. Could go down to the last 2 games. Hold on to your hats!!

I really was hoping that we would get exactly 30 points, and be safe. For the obvious reason
