I have had both knees replaced. Going back I would have got lots of exercise on a bike, and aquarobics also helps. Also wear light shoes.

K2,d3 supplements. Get off the processed foods including white sugar. Last but most importantly consult GP about gradual increase in physio therapy. Increase leg strength, keep moving and condition will improve.

I was advised to stop running, about 1 year ago, because the doctor suspected I had the beginnings of arthritis in my right knee. I was already taking a daily glucosamine / chondroitin supplement, and continue to do so. I still run as well, but don't do anything much longer than 10k these days.

Impressive, the only time I reach running speed these days is when I fall over!

Plenty of exercise helps. I walk the dog for an hour everyday, go to the gym & swim.
