    XI tomorrow

Posted by YouGov Poll on 15/1/2024, 21:43:13

    Krul

    Clark
    Burke
    Potts
    Bell
    Giles

    Chong
    Pelly
    Berry
    Woodrow

    Brown

Don’t like risking Bell or Brown but no idea who else can step up.

Put the Development XI and Shea on the bench.

It matters zero if we get beaten tomorrow.

    Particularly after todays news.

Will be interesting to see what the boss decides…
Bell has started every game since he has been fit.
Morris will want to play and stake his claim
I would play Clark in the Barkley role
Lakonga adds the bit of Prem class so hope he starts if Barkley is rested

Play the bulk of the first eleven, no game for a couple of weeks.

              Are you serious?

While other teams rest in the sun you want to risk out first XI?

Did you not hear we lost Mads on Friday for a few weeks.

The squad is too thin to take any more risks.

As it is two first teamers are going to need to start.

Footballers get injured mate, can't wrap them in cotton wool, more players pick up serious training injuries than playing injuries. Wins give a boost to everyone in the club, especially when we won't be winning many games.
Let's see who's right when the team is announced tonight.

So is it a greater risk to play a competitive match or to train?

Why risk either? Do we want an extra game against PL opponents?

Can’t see any upside of risking the first XI tomorrow.

Ross and Albert should go no further than the Heathrow hotel.

So not even a full season in the PL has turned you into a gutless PL money grubbing whore who sees the most famous knock out competition in the world as a distraction from the fun of avoiding relegation . Well done.

I think me and many others said the same thing exactly a year ago.

That turned out rather well I think.

                      Care you explain why?

Loose Barkley and Alfie in the 4th round to injury.

That would be worth it for you??

Should they not train incase they get injured?
Anyway, a lot of us would love a cup run Cuba.

I will remember who suggested this when it backfires.

We got stuffed at Grimsby last season and did anyone really care come the end of May?

Of course it matters. It's the FA Cup. We should want to win every game. What about the 8 or 900 that will be spending their hard earned money to go to the game? Thankfully you're not the manager.

I bet all 800-900 would rather play my XI than risk the first XI.

If that team isn’t good enough then it’s reflective of our squad depth.
