PC Clarification

I know, I Know, but not a spades in the ground question from me , but as most of us know a major hold up for the ground( as well as KR improvements) has been the agreement to move the electricity sub station,( and build a new one ?)
Has this in turn led to a delay in the final detailed planning application going in?
Something was mentioned on here a few weeks back?

The hold up is nothing to do with the substation. It has been five years this month since planning was granted for power court.
The hold up has simply been that the scheme isn’t financially viable.
Arcadis haven't been involved for over 5 years, you muppet. They were also sacked for being shit. So spouting bs for clicks. The absolute reason for the delay has been UKPN, KR and the collapse of Buckingham causing contractors to prove up and derisk stadium builds.
Newlands was always meant to be part of the solution to the funding?
If those flats have no residual values, surely none of the other umpteen flats being constructed in the town have any residual value to sell on to developers?
Fair enough. I've no idea if what you're saying is true or not.
Are you saying we're expecting a new application for 1000 flats? That would have to be another outline planning application, before the reserved matters one for the details goes in?

I think the new substation will have to be built and connected to the cables of the old one before demolishing the old one. It wouldn't be a good idea to cut off the electricity from the town centre for a long period of time.
This would reduce emissions and customer bills. What’s not to love?

Errrr, lighting, cooking, your computer and/or phone charger, electric vehicle charging; or are you living in a shack with candles and a wood stove, and using a bike lamp dynamo to charge whatever device to post on here?

From what?

My very limited understanding. The sub station move has been a bit of a hold up, though my mate who did this a lot reckons it’s just par for the corse. Secondly, the Prem money has allowed the club to make the ground slightly larger and reinstate some of the bells and whistles which takes time. Thirdly I believe the size of the tower blocks on the site are being reduced, which I guess comes with some extra work. I really like KR with the new bobbers so I’m totally relaxed about the timescales

This isn’t helpful I know but no one really understands where we are.
Hopefully the club and will publish a Q&A statement soon.
