The club say they are installing seats in the oak road that will "increase capacity" How can that be ? I thought the standing capacity city had to be the same as the seated in UK safe stNding

Would love to see the entire KR end converted to safe standing.

with the high gantry on the Bobbers being such a success they are exploring the possibility of one for fans above the Oak Road end.

We don't sell all the seats in the Oak due to H&S - evacuation. Plus there's 300 seats in the sterile zone.

Numbers for Safe Standing is calculated using the P and S factors which usually means you can sell every spot there is. Also the sterile zone is smaller as we have seen on TV games. So the Oak Road end will hold another 500-ish (guess) spots.

Follow on question - will MS F and G block singers go to the Oak for a better view and atmos?

            Only issue is "seat" allocation.

I hope they intend taking ST numbers in relation to where stood over coming home fixtures.
Mrs Baker and I, along with the other dozen around us, have stood in the same spot since ST where reintroduced into the Oak Road end.

Plus you cannot sell every individual seat when they are unreserved. I would suggest that is more the case as a no-mans land segregation area will still be required.

As I said, the sterile/nomansland area will be much smaller.
