So....to improve the game Adebayo should have had his head clattered into?
Yeah, because goalkeepers not being allowed to be challenged for a ball without it being immediately branded a foul has really “improved” the game.
Trafford came for a ball he was unlikely to claim, ran into one of the biggest lads on the pitch, and promptly fell over. Had the coming together been with any other Burnley player, would it have been a foul? No.
Perhaps we should gone all rugby line out style and given him a lift to reach the ball.
