The way our football is described.......

    I just don't see it.
"Luton make the most of what they've got"
"Teams know what to expect from Luton"
    "Very direct"
    etc etc

Some of our football last night was sublime. Intricate passes in tight spaces, passes with vision , accurate crosses from wing to wing to feet, smart play at the back to bring the ball out all to feet no hoofing,

I'm seeing some of our best football since the 80s and we NEVER got talked about in such patronising terms.

“Luton play nice-to-watch possession-based football, but where were their ideas in the final third?”

      Doesn’t exactly fit your narrative

        That would be your narrative.

What? That’s a quote from the match report in the Times - i.e. people are increasingly recognising we don’t just boot it. And I think that quote very fairly describes our play last night. So some reporters at least are reporting on what they actually see.

Eh? But we DON'T play possession based football . Last night was pretty much th only game this season where we had more of the ball than the opposition. I'd change your paper, whoever wrote that is an idiot. We aren't possession based but we still play fast , decent attacking football when we do have the ball.

You and many others on social media are sounding very scouse. Always crying about something. No one likes us, blah, blah, blah.
        It's embarrassing.

We do go direct sometimes but I like the fact we mix it up

Some of the possession-based football I see played leaves me cold, especially the slow build up stuff. Not much fun watching defenders kick a ball amongst each other

I didn't see any goofball, other that a few Kaminski clearances. I did see some sublime lond passed to the wings.
We may not be perfect, but we're bloody well getting better every game.
Last night I saw a Prem team in white shirts

a number of pundits making these silly statements are trying to convince themselves that their opinions at the start of the season still have merit, they dont, they are wrong.

It’s easy to repeat a narrative of group thinking rather than reevaluate what you are witnessing.
Burnley were outstanding last year, and all
Power to them,we made the most of what we have and successfully achieved promotion.
They’ve stagnated we’ve moved further on that is another incredible achievement in itself.
