McAtee

Looks like he’ll possibly be doing a Joe Taylor and moving up a level. Several Championship clubs are after him apparently.
Think the club have handled both he and Taylor’s development very well, very encouraging for next season!

A player who is better, fitter and younger than Woodrow being sent back out on loan.
Surely we would want to ensure we have the best chances of stay long up.
With no Brown tonight we have little cover.
Taylor or McAtee would have been a better option than Woodrow imho.
Moreover all these clubs looking to strengthen up front, I do hope we are doing the same rather than become a FL charity.
Not sure if I am right, but surely the problem with keeping McAtee is that if he played for us and then failed to remain in the first team, he would get no further in developing into a real striker. It seems to me much better to loan him out to a good championship club.
Unless these players are given an opportunity how can they be deemed not good enough yet?
I'm sure there were doubts about Evan Ferguson before he got his opportunity at Brighton.
An injury to either Morris or Adebayo would leave us severely disadvantaged.
We have to bring in an attacking player - ideally a striker.
In a game of small margins, the additional 1-2 goals from an additional striker pays for itself and could be the difference between staying up and not staying up.
If we didn't sign Adebayo who scored a couple of goals to keep us up the club's future would have been very different and we would likely be in league one/championship now.
Every club has them - my Preston mate brought this fella to my attention:
@Andreww01326914
Always throwing random names around of players they should be signing, with the added bonus that he reckons he should be running the club and claims to have the resources to do it ......
Evan Ferguson is a 19 year old who has been very highly rated at the top youth levels for years - I don't see how he compares to John Mcatee who has spent years playing lower leagues (albeit who is beginning to look a strong player in League one.)
The trouble is you will never shut up. Woodrow could come on for the last 10 minutes, score a hat-trick to steal a 3-2 win, literally kiss Vincent Kompany's arse, reveal a t-shirt message saying: "I did it for you, Cuba" and you would still come back whining, under some guise or other.
Rob obviously believes CW is good enough, I also believe he is, just needs a few games in my opinion, and needs a goal for confidence, is tonight the night?
Has v good movement and is good at finding himself space in the box.
He's obviously not going to be starting games, but he's always looked fairly lively I thought when he's come on as a sub. Forest away for example.

He looks the real deal, just needs more games, great move by the club, his brother is very decent too.

Potential to be the next jamie vardy type player. We missed out on the real one wouldn't pay Halifax 150 to 250k for him back in the conference days. This guy looks like he has the potential maybe best to send him to championship and see if he can get 7 to 10 goals for the 2nd half of season. Looked lively in the pre season for us.
