    Osho contract

Posted by Finchley on 11/1/2024, 23:27:20

Am I the only one concerned it might be up in the summer? With a contract he’s probably worth £15m+ given how well he’s been playing

Would be a shame, but to me he doesn't seem like the type of character who is going to do the dirty. I get the feeling he deeply appreciates what the club have done for his career, and loves playing for Rob Edwards and Luton Town.

But if he goes, he goes. People were saying there was no way Gabe could step into Naismith's shoes, and he ended up being even better.

Also a risk for Osho - an injury this season and he could be out of contract and unemployable. I would have thought an extension with us and a reasonable sell on clause would suit everyone…

          Yeah I agree.

Trying to join the dots I think he may be the only one that’s worth worrying over.

I suspect Barkley will have a relegation clause.

The loan guys will go back.

There will also be some big bids - but we’ll decide if they go or not.

We’ve just got to keep trusting the recruitment but yeah as a betting man I’d say Osho is off on a free at the end of the season. At least he didn’t cost us anything.

He's probably also weighing up what division we'll be in too - although I can't see why a contract can't be drawn up and signed with various causes in it. He will almost certainly be wanting to play in the PL for the rest of his career now but who would take him? Is he good enough for the likes of the supposed big 6?

Maybe not too six but would say he’s certainly good enough to be considered by decent, mid-table sides (Wolves, maybe even Villa, Brighton)

Would be a real shame, if he’s out of contract in the summer, sell him

Only if someone gonna cough up a huge sum - which they are unlikely to do if he’s out of contract. No point selling him as could be difference between relegation and survival

With FFP now a real threat to many clubs after Everton's points deduction there won't be too many clubs willing to splash much cash any time soon.
