    Parking at the cricket ground

Posted by Bedhatter on 11/1/2024, 16:00:08

Went to the cricket ground last season and noticed people park there but wasn’t driving. Driving myself up tomorrow, is it a big car park…and any idea how much to park?

Hopefully be near on 2,000 of us up there, massive game.

    Cheers lads

If you get chance to go into the cricket club for pre-match drinkipoos then do so. In 1998 I had a pie, peas, and pint and it cost me £2.50!!! I know that was 26 years ago now (crikey!!?!) nearly to the day and I got to rub my hand in Gary Doherty's sweaty head after his late winner for us down at our end but it was exceptional value and good pre-match atmosphere with loads of home and away fans mixing.

Plenty of room at the cricket club. Only 1300 going. All the early season ticket wanting cry babies don't fancy it now it's a bit cold and an unfashionable club we're playing.
