        Yes, this does have legs. It hinges on whether or not Forest will be allowed to count the Johnson sale within the financial period under discussion.

        Forest reckon they can and have said that they were talking to the PL about this all throughout the summer. That's not the same as the PL giving them the green light, though.

        I think under the new fast-tracked rules, we should know by the end of next week if they're getting charged. The penalty will then be confirmed by April.

          Also, as I mentioned below, I understand that they have appointed Nick De Marco which implies that they expect to be charged although the fact that he has represented various clubs looking at taking action against Everton may make it harder for him to argue in favour of Forest's position.
