£15 with Smarty but is it optional for keeping your phone number? I can fit 2 Sims in my phone so I want to keep my current number on my current SIM, just need the unlimited data SIM to tide me over in between moving house. Also how does tethering work? Does this mean you can link your TV to the SIM and continue being able to watch catch up TV without having broadband WiFi?
I wouldn't worry about unlimited data. So many places have WiFi and you'll presumably be using your broadband at home too.
I pay £8 a month which gives me 40GB of data which is a ridiculous amount for what I use. The teenage kids are on the same package and never run out of data even when on holiday for a couple of weeks and away from any WiFi.
Tethering is so easy and great. You just use your phone's signal to transmit a WiFi connection to your device. I use it frequently and very reliably.
If you don't have broadband id still suggest that 40GB is ample depending on how much you use but it will be enough for streaming about 10 movies plus loads of internet surfing.
I need it to replace broadband in between moving house. £15 for unlimited seems decent value to me, just want to make sure I don't need to attach my phone number to it as I will only need it for a month all being well as should be moved by end of January and can then set up a new broadband deal.
Sorry I don't know what redtube is. Something similar YouTube at a guess? If so one if my lads seems permanently on YouTube watching bike and war videos and he never seems to run out of data.
Also remember it's a lot easier to upgrade than downgrade any package.
