    Ross Barkley

I’ve heard the usual stuff about Ross etc and you cannot help but wonder how he ended up at Luton. The following maybe bollocks and is the view of Everton fans only but an interesting insight nonetheless.

Ability wise on the ball I’ve not seen any Luton player near him since Paul Walsh and Ricky Hill.

A lot of "football geniuses" as Mourinho says trying to make out they understand more than they do.

He was very good at Everton, which is why Chelsea bought him. He had long term injuries and Chelsea had a lot of players and high standards so he couldn't get in the team.

Not a huge story really, "injury prone player isn't as good as World Cup winner Ngolo Kante" is about the long and short of it.

Why are players happy to sit on benches?

I’ll hazard an educated guess. It’s probably got something to do with 5 figure sums getting paid into the bank every week.

              Obviously.

Delightful to see both Barkley and Townsend standing over a free kick in the first half.
            What a pair of signings.

Townsend, Barkley, and Doughty. I thought, that's got to keep them guessing. I certainly had no idea what they were planning.
