    Tom and our history

I love Tom and all that he stands for. His condition whilst being regrettable is also preventable again by him facing the cold truth about retiring. Thank you Bournemouth staff and supporters for conducting themselves the way they did. Tom is still with us, but as a chapter in our history it cannot be ignored that this has never happened before to any team.
Enjoy the differences we make, create and accept that one day we will look back ok this as character building. Get well soon skipper.

He was medically cleared and declared fit to play, so would have seemed strange if he had retired. I reckon if he had the choice again knowing what he now knows he would still want to play premier league football.

Sorry, I'm not really understanding your post? I can only presume you've studied his medical details this evening?
Also, what has never happened before to any team?
        Thanks.

What do you mean about it not happening before? Several players have collapsed on the pitch before, the most prominent example being Eriksson whilst playing for Denmark.

Disappointed that “fellow fans” need this explaining to them.
Which other team has seen what we have - the fall and rise ? Whilst having an influential skipper collapse at Wembley and again this afternoon. No disrespect to the other professional footballers who have suffered similar issues but this is a Luton forum so I couldn’t care less than the position I find my club healing with. Sorry for caring about us.

Maybe it is lost un translation,I am sure it isn't meant as blunt as it sounds,U can see what is meant no other club that I can remember has had a player have 2 such incidents.

Tom is a true hero to this club, absolute collussus.

Health is wealth anything else is secondary.

Keep well, and I am sure whatever happens the club will honour our captain in the right way.
