    Car Issue

Posted by Ross Barclays on 15/12/2023, 14:15:35

    Damp across the rear seats.

No windows left open, nobody has sat in the back for weeks, backs of seats dry as is the parcel shelf and boot.

    Any ideas?

    TIA

Spare wheel well full of water. Probably a leak around rear lights... There should be a plug under the well you can push in to release the water

Similar issue on a Skoda Fabia years ago... Basically the same car

Take it through a car wash and get someone to sit in the back to watch for water coming in

Could it be a poor seal around the roof aerial dripping down onto the seats? Headlining will be wet of course.

Might it be the condensation from the prostitute tied up in the boot? I've seen it happen.

Lots of condensation inside the car whenever I get in, must be getting in from somewhere!

                        Kwik Fit it is then

Condensation is due to moisture laden air condensing on cold windows. It doesn't necesarily 'get in' but could be caused by normal passenger breath ( or other heavy breathing in the back seat area).
