Is Jones one of our greatest managers

Gotta be in top 4 or 5.

In both stints he left us with a better side than when he came in.

The only thing I want from our club is to be a bit better this season than we were in the last.

On that basis he's been better than most.

But I do believe a lot of "his" success was down to the culture 2020 have built between the players, owners, staff and fans.

Just wish they'd sort the merchandising out a bit better.

Gary is a bit busy forging his media career, taking the plaudits on TalkSport to concern himself about the minions that have been complaining about the merchandise side of the club for the last 6 months mate. Get with the programme.

Its OK that kids won't have a Luton shirt to open Christmas day, so long as Jim White thinks we're great .....

I managed to get a kids shirt and shorts somehow. Along with a pair of socks that are adult sized. The lad will have warm legs.

He did very well for us. Probs top 10.

          Bottled play offs against Blackpool.

Bottled the LG2 title to Accrington Stanley despite a massively superior budget.

Bottled taking us through LG 1.

Bottled telling 2020 the truth, instead got off the coach after Sheff Weds in the cup to speak to Stoke.

          Bottled the Stoke job.

Bottled the play offs against Huddersfield

Played Elijah when he couldn't walk.

          Bottled Southampton job.

Wouldn't really want him in the trenches with you eh?

Yes, he took us forward very well in two separate stints. Keeping us up in the championship that year was colossal.

Statistically yes. We wouldn’t be where we are without him.

                  Something about him grates however

Statistically Richard Money is one of the best managers we've ever had.

Yep. Buckle would probably top the list for me followed closely by G.Jones

Blackwell was surely the most obnoxious.

Maybe hard to take on board but G Jones was actually picking up points before the virus hit.

Good point but the window lickers don't like to hear that.

Last 7 or 8 games of G Jones compared to the first 7 or 8 games of Rat face.....

                              Correct friend.

Tunnicliffe scoring the winner away at ‘Boro and then the draw away at Wigan before we tragically got locked away.
