Did not realise he resigned for Luton 85-86. But featured only for three games.

Was he mostly injured or not good enough?

I met him a lot around local non league and random reserves matches. Even at a southed reserves v Swindon reserves at a 14:00 ko , i was in the area with time to kill😄 (I think he was manager then at Swindon)

One of the nicest guys I’ve met from the football world.

    Shame he died so young.

He and I were in the same classes for our six years at Markyate primary school. He was always really friendly, even after we went our separate ways when we went to secondary schools - he to Redbourn's ex-secondary modern and me to ex-grammar Grove Hill (now Ashley Cooper) in Hemel.

            A sad loss.

From memory he was pretty anonymous in those three games. First time around though, wow, and we only got £40 feckin k for him.
