    Ogbene's 'foul'

This is what really pisses me off about this division. How on earth was that a foul?

That infuriated me. As did the shin high challenge on Townsend in our penalty area that VAR actually checked for a penalty to them! The added on time to added on time was fair enough.

Townsend had a heavy touch and tried to block the Arsenal player playing the ball. Townsend was late and got a kick with the follow through after the ball was played. Townsend's fault really and not a foul.

It was fair enough but the thing that gets me is that I watch players time waste like that hundreds of time a season with the square root of fuck all getting done about it.

            Yup.

I think if Kabore doesn't time waste not taking that throw the ref blows up on 6 mins, though.

            Still feel sick.

Sick is the right word, then a nightmare journey home to give me even more time to think about it!

              Time I really didn't need.

Getting a train home full of hammered Arsenal fans was not fun.

Oh yes, I feel your pain, I didn't even manage to spot any stuck in the same jam on the M1, would have been some consolation!

I'm not sure..the free kick is within added time, and we don't clear it properly. He looks like he's going to blow but sees the arsenal attack is still going as it's played out to odegaard.

We clear the free kick and he blows up imo

Adding on the time was probably correct but it's when referees choose to actually apply the laws that is most infuriating. Playing against the big clubs generally means you're following a different set of rules.

If we'd actually been on the break down the other end I have no doubt the referee would blow up. Referees are trying to protect themselves from the swathes of abuse they get whenever a big club feels wronged. You have to pander to Pep/Klopp/Arteta

Take that Chong 'foul' against Brentford. Clear dive as with the above. But those kind of decisions are only available to the clubs who pay the most/bring the most money in.

Second worst decision after the added extra time, real chance there

Shocking decision. Could see it at the time, and not to sound all Liverpool, but that's not given if it's Martinelli doing it to Kabore

The ref didn't get a grip on their play acting all evening. Just a touch was enough to send them tumbling. Jesus should have been booked for going down holding his head, then of course he got booked fo something else.

Play acting is sadly just a part of the game now.

But it's so obvious and so predictable, refs really need to start dishing yellows out for it, it falls within the existing rules for them to do so under simulation I believe.

Jesus and his persistent attempts to win fouls and exaggerate them were a long way towards the extreme end of the spectrum.

He went down holding his head, got dogs abuse from the crowd and was gesturing to us saying he'd been hit in the mouth looking sad

                    100%

I want to stay up, obviously.

But if we go down, I'm not going to miss this side of the premier league. Nor VAR.

I donít think itís obvious we as fans would want to stay up. The football is clearly excellent and the money for the club is great. But the match day experience, especially away, is to me not as good as the Championship. Playing 11 out of 19 away games in 3 cities lacks variety imo, and it was easy at most matches to get tickets

Why wouldnít you want to stay up. Stay up, build, grow. Like Brentford, Brighton etc. Maybe get into Europe eventually, have a cup run, see quality players recruited by the club. Grow the fan base. Donít get me wrong, going down wouldnít be a disaster and I expect it, but I donít want it. Never know when the next chance might come around.
