    It's a shame that...

A shame we played Wolves and Burnley at home earlier in the season and not now that we've found our feet and are a lot more up to speed with it all. Could have had a couple more wins on the board. Standing toe to toe with a team like Arsenal and feeling a bit gutted we didn't get a point, 10 years on from facing Alfreton Town, is an amazing achievement and a real source of pride. COYH!

        +1

Even more so, last night was without two of our key players - (Lockyer and Nakamba)

It does feel like those earlier home games are a missed opportunity somewhat, an extra three points would have been very useful right now.

Alfreton ten years ago was a ooh yeah moment after we beat them 5 0 away - a real turning point that instilled belief in everyone same as last night.

+1, that was the day I knew we would get promoted. The prematch warm-up we looked well up for it, the Alfreton players stood around watching us go through our routine and Pelly's league debut.

Great point. We can have some belief. So happy we're not doing a Sheffield Utd!

Talking to a very good friend last night and made a very good and interesting point and that was many feel before they get into the ground how many are we going to lose by, which shapes the atmosphere dependent on who we are playing. Last night may well be a turning point in determining how this season now shapes up. It's about belief and desire.
The atmosphere was brilliant last night, we as a support have been excellent from day one in this league. Need to take what we had last night into Sunday. We are not far off from getting results. What a time to be alive!

Well done to the wing stand, the Oak and the KR end for starting so many songs. There were even a few occasions when the KR end started a song when things had gone a bit quiet. Brilliant from all.

What was the new song with the same tune as the Fred song?

Our fans have been second to none all season. The EPL can be a bit sterile and we make a difference. Right with the 'how many we are going to lose by' comment but after last night, the fact that we compete, I'm more thinking about how any game will go, eager to play and pit ourselves against teams. We have players with speed and class, enough to worry many. More excitement than dread, definitely.
