It's just a but crap nowadays isn't it?

    Zoe Ball, over excited knob.
    Vernon Kay, Northern knob.
Jeremy Vine, up his own arse knob.
    Scott Mills, boring knob.

The only radio station I listen to now is Radio Caroline.
Minimal adverts, minimal chatter, decent mix of music, and they very rarely need to cut the last 2 minutes off a song.

People who listen to Radio 2 wear leather driving gloves.
        Maybe the string backed type.

Can't listen to Zoe Ball, everything is "fab, amazing, awesome".

Back in the summer she was banging on about how incredible Glastonbury was and everyone should go.

Rob Beckett came on and said it was crap, overhyped wank. She said " Oh you should come with us next year".

          "No Thanks".

Everything wasn't so fab and amazing for her husband when she was letting a couple of young lads hang out the back of her.

Use the knob on your wireless to tune into something different then.

Pick of the Pops Saturday 1-3pm (not as good since some idiot took over from Gambo, but still listenable).
Sound of the 70s with Johnnie Walker Sunday 3-5pm
                  Paul Gambaccini Sunday 8-10pm.

Johnnie Walker.... Hard to think he was on when I was at school. Announcing charts on a Tuesday at 1300 (I think)
Pop the question was the quiz to listen in for.
                      😎

Sounds of the 60's with Tony Blackburn is always good as are the jokes

Radio 2 has really gone downhill. Some of the new DJ's are dire, dull, nothing interesting to say, all superficial shite. Having the public on more seems to be a new theme - some of the Scott Mills stuff is so cringeworthy I haven't listened since the Spring.

Yes it was a good programme, but I'm not waking up at 6am on a Saturday just to listen to it.

Good god no, BBC Sounds is your friend. You can catch up up to a month's worth of progs and can jump through the news too.
