    First goal

Surprised VAR didn't call Chong offside for the Mengi goal, he is in the keepers eyeline in an offside position.
Hate VAR but brilliant when it goes in your favour.

No appeal was made, no chasing the ref etc. VAR did check it and found he was not in the keepers eyeline.

I know, just surprised after seeing the replays they didn't find a reason to disallow it, if that was against us I think we would be questioning the view the keeper had.

Chong was immaterial as it was the Palace players who did the blocking of the keepers view.

VAR has been quite lenient on that sort of offside decision. If you look at where Chong is though, the keeper wouldn't have got any better view past his own players if Chong wasn't there, and wouldn't have stood any chance of saving it. So not distraction, not interfering with play.

Just watched the highlights. Is it normal to abbreviate Crystal Palace to CRP?

Or alternatively, I saw it abbreviated to CRY
which is also appropriate for Saturday
