    Garth at it again

Picking a goal keeper (Man City's obviously) for his ability to pass ...... if he had any credibility.... (please feel free to finish this statement)

I know I'm old school but my interpretation of a goalkeeper's prime job was to keep the ball out of his net as opposed to attempting to impersonate Johann Cruff in his own 18 yard box.

This playing it out between 'keeper and back four has led to countless examples of ridiculous goals being conceded but, as I say, maybe I'm out of sinc with modern day football.

I think Garth is enjoying all this attention.

Noone ever heard of his weekly shit until he made those comments. Now we cant get through a weekend without somebody rushing to let us know what Garth thinks or whether he's ignored us.

        Who fukkin cares

He has the casting vote at the end of the season if teams in 17th and 18th finish on same points and goal difference etc. So it absolutely does matter.

I`m thinking he deliberately trolls, then sees what he has trolled and doubles down on it. or trebles. He said he cant take us seriously , so avoids any chance of doing so. (FWIW i thought kaminski and mengi might get his picks...based on his normal criteria). I know its new to us this season..bu i think he has form

The cnut mentioned the Palace players going off "early on in the match". It was after HT.

His disrespect for us is off the chart.

His reference about Roy’s comments is clearly suggesting that poor decisions meant we won.

That isn’t what Roy said but any excuse for not giving us any credit is taken.

                Cretinous.

In all honesty apart from the double save by Kaminski and when they laid siege from about 85 minutes on I thought they looked pretty ordinary. And we should really have added a third after that header rattled the post at the death.

I did manage to get a ticket btw. I was in the Brickies for one beer and did have a cursory look for you but didn't see you in there...

I was out at the back with Zoe and a few others. Caught up on the latest about Pogue, sounds like good progress.

Journey home was a mare....went straight from the ground to the bus station, got home just before midnight!

I spoke to Phil O, he did let me know how Pogue was. It was too cold outside for me hence going elsewhere!

Tiddles' grandson went to the game. He has a 100% victory record of watching us. Albeit yesterday was only his second game, the first being the play off final!

Leeds roll over and admit they wanted Spurs to stay up. The FL are delighted.
82/83, Luton win the last game of the season at Maine Road, staying up and sending City down. A result the footballing authorities were furious about.

After the game the Luton board signal their intent to move to Milton Keynes, a move the FA and FL were fully supportive. Rather a top flight club in MK than Luton. Fans group “Supporters of Luton Town 1983” formed.

84/85, and SoLTFC83 mobilise against the club. A “No To MK” boycott and attendances at Kenilworth Road are slashed. It was hard not supporting one of the best footballing teams in the land, but we held firm.

The board of directors caved in towards the end of the season, but were never trusted again. The Millwall riot caused the directors to ban away fans. I’ve still yet to meet a single Luton supporter in favour of this.

                                      I'll forward that to you.

Apologies to anyone else reading this who can't open it. Sorry!

                          Is tomorrow night.

You can bet your rental property that had any of the top six been playing tomorrow then Crooks wouldn’t have published his “team” tonight.

                          It’s so obvious.

A pundit based on what - a mediocre career at Tottenham? Or am I missing something.

I think that probably proves he didn't actually see it, just the Olise goal ..... which was a fine goal, probably the 2nd best of the weekend
