        Thanks for flagging.

I guess this goes back to the heated debate in August but the facts suggest that we have made the right decisions.

Barkley was loved at Everton, he was outstanding there and that got him into the England team.

A move to Chelsea was probably wrong for him football wise and despite a decent spell at Villa he has had a few lean years but total respect for him for joining us and having the opportunity to get back to the Everton form. He is also benefiting from having Andros and letís face it when you have two England internationals in your dressing room every day it can only have a positive effect.

Not sure you can compare Campbell and Ross fairly, while Campbell played has played a key role for us once Marv arrived his opportunities have been and will be limited. RE didnít see enough in Campbell to change that and I know who is best judge!

Barkley has the potential to be our best ever player, so while effort and determination is what got us here we have to appreciate that itís the extra level of class that you need to stay up regardless of who misses out.

We are beginning to see who has that quality, from the established group itís fewer than some originally suggested and we have recruited well to raise the level all over the pitch.

January will see a few more changes as we shape ourselves for the seasons ahead, regardless of which league we are in.

          Fair points Cigar,
Don't think Allan Campbell has become a bad player overnight and as a fan think he will thrive when away from Millwall but unlikely under Rob Edwards.
I really hope Ross has a great season and other purchases and loans work out going forward.
Believe we both want best for the Club.
Talking quality I loved John Aston at Luton and he was the real MOM in Man U European Cup Final 68.
          Respect

he's not even getting a game at a tanking Millwall at the moment, which would suggest that RE's evaluation of him as not being a PL player might not have been far wrong

Things aren't always black and white and accomadating AC and Marvellous was never likely but I've seen enough of a young player not to write him off yet.
Just unfortunate Millwall not best move which is surprising.

If he keeps up his form between now and the end of the season then he might be knocking on the door of the England squad again.

It would be a fantastic story, but then again we do have a track record in those!

Alfie must be getting close to getting a call also.

Garth and Tim will be seething.

I was going to say Alfie too. He's made the leap with ease it seems - on both flanks. That versatility, coupled with his ability - might be a massive plus come the end of the season, if not before.
