    Shearer

I havenít watched MOTD for years, decades probably. But from what I read, Shearer does not have anything positive to say about us, no matter how well we perform.

That canít be down to anything from his playing days, which begs the question, why the negativity?

Iím wondering if it isnít related to the Lee boys. He is best mates with their dad and maybe holds somewhat of a grudge based on how they fell out of favour and were moved on?

    Just a thought.

a great player but was a woeful, albeit short term manager and is an incredibly boring and poor pundit who offers very little insight.

Think people are just thinking of the first game comments.

He seems to generally be "pundit number 2" on our games when we get a result - so the other one (be it wright or richards) will do the main bit.

Shearer did say "well done" quite enthusiastically on elijahs goal vs forest. But yesterdays game he was only asked about the palace goal (which to be fair was a decent strike)

I don't understand why people care what the likes of Shearer says or don't say.

People are way to precious nowadays. "Fukc em" that's what I say.
We have to just keep on doing what we are doing and we will prove any doubters wrong.

Totally agree, who gives a toss what Shearer, Crooks, Sherwood or anyone says. They're paid to talk shite and normally do. Very rarely listen to the so called experts, tho did watch MOTD last night and thought the comments were quite fair. Same as don't care what other teams supporters say about us on their forums.

I think he should be fined 120k for derogatory smirking when talking about Luton

I don't think they treated it like a first match. Hardly any highlights or analysis of Luton. Could easily have put a package of Ross especially that pass in first half.

Lazy punditry. It doesn't seem any of the MOTD pundits have watched our games or certainly haven't tried any in-depth analysis.

When we are discussed, it's very generic. For what they are paid, you would have thought they would take some time out of the week to watch/understand some of the less fashionable clubs.

I am not sure he has the ability to understand much at all.
He is as thick as pigshit.

Yes lazy punditry they don't bother to find out what the rules are either. A poor contrast to Colin Murray who seemed knowledgeable and actually interested in what he was doing!
