    Ross Barkley

Surely technically up there with the best we’ve seen in a Luton shirt. His composure on the ball & awareness of what is going on around him is so important for us bringing the ball out on the counter, he’s a treat to watch at the minute. Up the town.

The long pass to Alfie to run onto was just ridiculous. He is some player. Need to keep him fit.

It's the composure on the ball which is his standout, never seems to get flustered. Premier League quality.

He's like a machine. A few times I've just seen him just stand there, not fazed by anything.

Remember the ball being deep into their end, and he was just standing there with reams of space just outside the box. Didn't move an inch, when everybody else was flustering (on both teams) around him.

Nothing will beat that performance against torquay.
                  Technically amazing!

                    Thinking the same.

Who actually has been better on the ball that Barkley?

Someone in the late 50’s team?

For me Hill was always the best I had seen.

Thought exactly that today. There is something very RH about RB's keeping of the ball until he sees the pass he wants. What a superb signing.

Yes, really is class and playing like an England international. Makes space so easily, works really hard, strong, can see and make a pass. Hard to pick a player of the match but I would just put him above Kaminski

But praise too for the players making those spaces to receive his brilliant passes.
A real team effort directed at the back by Locks and Barkley in the middle.

Noticeable appreciation from Ray Lewington at the end.

Early form due to lack of fitness and him seeing things that much quicker?
Never get another cap passing forward like that!
