A lot of people will say that the cup is unimportant, maybe, maybe not. But that team should have won easily.
That result will dig deep into the confidence of the team.
I hope there’s a “ Warnock” side to Edwards, and he bollocks the lot of them.

I think comparing tonight with Saturday is a bit odd given we made 10 changes, we were away in a cup competition, playing a side high on confidence, and in a different division.
Yes it sounded dire and as 1cr said at full-time Saturday will pick itself and none of the fringe players did themselves any favours.
Personally it disappoints me that the likes of Berry, Pelly, Adebayo, Woodrow in particular who have been with us a while couldn't get it together tonight. Also that Giles, Chong etc. didn't show the potential quality we saw them.
Very disappointed. But we move on.

9-0 was the EFL trophy where they would have played their kids or reserves.
3 nil at the weekend yet still 6th in League 1 so a decent start to the season hence high in confidence.

Not comparing tonight with Saturday. In the league, most of our goals have been as a result of poor defending/individual mistakes and not due to individual brilliance by the opposing player
2 of our 3 goals scored have been penalties, both decisions to award the penalties have been queried by the "experts"
This is why I am not confident of getting anything against Everton

Yep. The inability to score goals is becoming a thing, players need confidence to stick the ball in the onion net and they all seem to lack it at the moment.
