    Our crosses and corners

    Are abysmal

Too often the wide player takes an extra touch to set himself. But that allows the defence to set and it's easy for them to deal with.

It needs to go in first time, before the defence can set. Yes you'll skew a few horribly, but when you hit a hood one in the defence won't be ready.

Agree that we aren't urgent enough, and subsequently quite predictable and fairly easy to defend against. Found it frustrating watching today for these reasons. I want to see us going hell for leather at home, like the Pleat sides played early 80s, on the verge of losing control but somehow getting it through by sheer momentum of intention. Currently we are too slow to pounce. Use Ogbene to better effect with this strategy and have someone goalhanging in the box to pick up any scraps.

Need someone who has good positional sense in the box, someone who's always in the right place at the right time. Brown or Woodrow probably best bet with current set up, but might need to look at getting someone else in in all honesty.

We def need to work on that part of our game.

Ogbene would be lethal if he could deliver better.

We don’t get enough players in the box from crosses, that game was crying out for a Luke berry, late runs into the box.

Exactly Cork Hatter, the crossing isn’t the issue. Giles put in sim beauties but no one was there to knock it in.

But on at least three corners three of their players stood next to each and headed it away. Not a Luton player within five yards. Surely that’s miscommunication or a poor delivery

I thought Sambi's set pieces were disappointing.

Hopefully just getting up to speed.

Ffs really? Have you not noticed the very obvious plan in the 5 games so far. We are not a big team and probably the smallest across the whole division.
So if we throw the ball into the business area what are the percentage chances of winning an aerial duel?? Wolves were huge at the back as are ever other team in this division. The plan is to drop the ball short and get a flick on to change the angle and flight and we pile in far post. We have players who can deliver a dead ball and they look like they are all dying near post. It’s not poor delivery it’s a game plan. Not worked especially well so far but that’s it imo. Feel free to argue by all means

We are the 7th tallest team in the league.
