Anyone got any experience off these cars. Looking to get an additional used car for us, and there seem to be a few of these for sale within my budget?

We had an automatic (not by choice, but for health reasons) and the gearbox wasn't great at the best of times but then it packed up completely with what turned out to be a common (and expensive) fault. The manual version might be better, I can't comment on that.

The automatics have a bad bearing fault, cost me £600. In the states there is a class action lawsuit regarding this fault, otherwise 6 years of faultless driving.

It's handy as they all have a gear in hand.

Unfortunately, some of the parts are injured and are replaced by shorter, more inexperienced parts.

They prefer driving on wide roads but struggle if the second leg of the journey is on narrower roads.

          Women love them.
          Reliable as Japanese.

Not a bad car if you don’t care about image I guess.

Being Japanese it’ll be reliable. If it’s the old model, they’re as ugly as f@c but as you’re on the inside looking out who cares…
Decent 4 door motor, and it’ll have a bunch of toys on it as well I’d expect (cameras, heated seats, sat nav etc.).
