    Fair Game survey

Posted by crumpsall on 19/9/2023, 11:32:37

Putting this up separately as it's a bit lost in the thread below re finances/clubs in trouble.

On that subject, though we fans don't have much of a voice we do have some.

Fair Game is a leading organisation in lobbying government re football regulation and Luton's Supporters' Trust (LTST) aren't just founding members but also very active participants

Only takes 2 minutes to complete this survey about fairer financial distribution and better still to sign up for their newsletter

Interesting how differently I look at this sort of thing since we've been promoted. Before, I thought parachute payments were a racket. Now I can see why they're necessary - there are big costs involved with trying to put out a Premier League team, and relegation would be ruinous without the parachute! We've put somewhere between £10m-£13m into the stadium and Nakamba, Chong and co will be on big wages. Take away that parachute and suddenly you'd be looking at an accounting nightmare next year if we go down.

Lets wait to abolish paruchute payments until after we take the 70million please.
