One of the most telling parts of his first comments about us was his saying it was nice to see our “tangerine” shirts back in the top flight - seemingly mixing us up with Blackpool. And of course we wore white at home when we were last in the big time. So that shows just how little thought he put into what he said.

EPL pundits have absolutely no interest in 'smaller' teams even those that have succeeded against all the odds. it's all about the EPL brand and the so called elite clubs. They will gush about giant kiling in the cup competitions, but dont like it when those same clubs threaten the EPL status quo.

Crooks’ record against Luton is won 3, lost 1. So he has seen Luton play 4 times. Probably nothing since. In his article he writes that Ricky Hill “was a young player starting out” when Crooks played at Kenilworth Road. Ricky is 1 year younger than Crooks.
