Michael Salisbury - referee

This wasn’t just a bad referee yesterday it was the most home team biased referring performance I have ever seen in nearly 50 years of watching the town
Firstly I am not into ongoing conspiracy theories about the FA and such like. However yesterdays referee was An absolute disgrace l. He barely gave a decision in our favour especially in the first half whereas the blonde haired Fulham player who kept falling over theatrically got a free kick every time .
The same referee also was dropped for a premier league game recently after missing a clear Brighton penalty away to spurs .
Somebody should analyse this tool’s performance and ask him what the #### is going on . Cheating c*nt
I think he’d written his review before he’d arrived at Craven Cottage. Watching it on the invitation of a Fulham fan, I can only say that without what seemed on the day to be some astonishingly bias refereeing decisions, and with by far the most clear cut chances, Luton were very unlucky to lose this match
Also from the Times, we've upset the precious Waitrose nonces by showing the respect due to that ####ing conman of an owner
George Baddeley 4 HOURS AGO
There was a glaring gulf in class not only between these two teams but also between the two sets of fans. Luton fans disgracefully decided to make a noise during the minutes’ silence in memory of our former Chairman
The noise appeared to come from fans who were coming into the ground who were not aware of what was taking place. Once they realised, they stopped immediately.
I wouldn't be too worried about it - he's right up there with Evans for former club owners who I wouldn't worry about having a minute's silence disrupted
Never normally moan about the referee as even if they are poor it normally effects both teams. However yesterday was the most inept one sided referee that I think I have ever witnessed. I would love to be able to sit and watch that performance with an assessor and see what conclusion they would come to. Cannot believe that a referee would cheat but that looked so dodgy yesterday. The blatant handball in the build up that went unchecked was a disgrace along with a multitude of other decisions.
Yeah that was a leg breaker on another day. As I said this referee wasn’t just bad he was a cheat . There is a big difference . We have seen plenty of bad refs over the last few seasons but this was something else entirely
Not the first bad ref we’ve had and, unfortunately, not the last. More disappointed with the quality of VAR. But given that is also subject to human error, won’t be the last time that happens either.
In theory yes. But when you're already up against up by being a promoted team, and the fact of our budget constraints, all that's a talk order in itself but then to beating teams comprehensively enough to not have to worry about dodgy officiating... I think you're being a tad unrealistic.
Interesting responses. Most in agreement however some who seem to think we should put up with it. I am actually going to contact the FA with a complaint and see what type of response (if any) I will receive. Let’s see how accountable they are and what assurances they can give? I also assume all those in agreement with me that there was something weird going on yesterday were actually at the match?
And how do they determine not directly resulting in a goal? As far as I can recall no Luton player touched it from that time until it hit the onion bag - apart from Kiminsky.
honestly. Only a matter of time before a ref is assaulted either by a player or fan. the arrogance of them at the top level is astonishing, they know they are untouchable
I agree with you, wasn't at the game but have seen all the incidents described (except for the Morris penalty appeal which I've not seen). The handball which led to their goal was ridiculous. Deflected onto his hand or not the point is that he then was able to sweep pass out to the left for them to cross in and score from. And Chong's yellow card made me angry too.
I will get a letter drafted to the FA and anyone else who wants to countersign is welcome to do so .
Not only was he involved in the decision to not award a penalty to Brighton away to spurs this season but he was also involved in denying wolves a penalty away at Man Utd . All this season !
