Are they doing increased / fairer injury time this season or what?

Or just when the big clubs need an equaliser?

The latter, as with every new rule in the game.

I sure enjoyed the 41 minutes of continuous football we apparently had in the 2nd half yesterday, despite the 10 substitutions and goal celebration.

Indeed. Also - If an identical handball to the one in the build up to the goal had denied Liverpool points in the last minute of a game there is absolutely no doubt whatsoever that VAR would intervene.

Same for the West Ham one.

Wasn’t even mentioned on MOTD !

In fairness, VAR can’t go back that far anymore for the handball. It was changed to being the goal scorer or the player assisting the goal I believe.

Ref was in a great position but was pretty cowardly all afternoon.

Same for the bald lino giving an incredibly soft free kick purely as the Fulham player threw himself down and grabbed the ball. Our lack of experience in how it works in this league means it’s also easy for other teams to effectively referee the game for us.
