Someone pointed out a while back Forest only had 9 points from 9 games last season and stayed so we need 9 points from 5 games as we have already lost 4 games it’s a big ask.

There is a lot of speculation that 30 points may be enough this season to stay up, because the gulf between the top and bottom of the Premier League is widening to such an extent. If that were the case we’d need 3 points from every 4 games, so we’d be 3 points behind as it now stands. If we could get 4 points from the next 3 games we’d only be a point or two off. Our games, particularly the home ones, look a lot harder to me before Xmas as opposed to after. We had a similar situation in our first season back in the Championship and made a late run to stay up so anything can happen.

Derby were relegated with only 11 points in 2007/08 scoring 20 goals. Think we'll do much better than that early days still 34 games to go.

Win the next three anything is possible. We were to defensive yeasterday I think we should be more braver. We look much better when we pressed Fulham. We go more chances.
I think we needed to tighten up defensively after conceding 7 goals in the previous to away games. Different matter at home though, except maybe against the big teams. I thought we were excellent yesterday except for the finishing which will come. Remember the first year back in the championship was hard and we just scraped staying up. We are playing teams who have been in the PL for a while so they know how to win even when it necessarily deserved.
