So disappointed…
Posted by Moneygrabber on 9/6/2023, 21:05:44
… that OUR club seems to have stopped communicating with the fans!! 1. Season tickets - not necessarily how much, but when will the prices be known. 2. Bobbers stand - 1st part of the ground I went to. Must be an artist’s impression of what it will look like !!

Are you the same tw@t from Hatters talk on Facebook, who slated 2020 for letting Horvarth, Nkamba and Drameh go back to their clubs?*
*Which they had to do under employment law.

Behave yourself. The season has only been over two weeks and there are big groundworks in operation. Give them a break ffs.

Response so far are totally missing my point!! Season ticket pricing would / should have been been prepared weeks ago. Bobbers stand plans would have also been prepared weeks/months ago. In the time it takes to tell us why they can’t do tell us, they could have told us!!
Excellent. You know exactly how everything should be done. Did you apply for the post of Operations Manager. If you did, how misguided of the Board not to appoint you. Sack 'em!
Tbf Pingu in all seriousness I think at least one of the supporters clubs should be asking the club when they plan on releasing season ticket prices.
It's a significant purchase for many fans, and if prices are due to go up (or not) people may want to know so they can budget.
I do agree with the original point that prices should've been agreed a while ago.
No point having the always watchful strap line if the supporters clubs are watching from up the clubs arse

Season Ticket prices were prepared a while ago. However with the changes to the ground due to promotion and the demand for tickets there have had to be a few tweaks to the brochure. Full brochure will be released in next couple of days....
Fair enough then, but I would argue they can't have been prepared well if they didn't take into account anticipated works to the stadium and an increase in demand.
How hard would it have been for an official statement saying that though? Would've stopped a lot of questions
Now we're premier league some areas of the club need to catch up.
How many updates did we have trying to sell tickets for Wembley? Including an update to say they need to call disabled supporters and the elderly who struggled online etc - why was this not thought of?

For three weeks, they were working flat out on tickets for play off games. The staff were then given a well deserved few days off although Mike carried on working resolving problems that had arisen.
It is still more than two months until the start of the season and, even then, at least the first game is likely to be away from home. What is the desperate urgency?
I can only assume you're on some sort of a wind up. Are you aware how many people work at the TO: and why LTFC have run such a tight ship since 2020 came in?
You're sounding very much like the Sendero twat to be honest.
You must have been in the good old days then. Law, Best, Charlton days? With real fans in Stretford End. Wasn't having a go. I just don't like the way we have gone. Needs must though....
Offended? Not me. But you're by choice out of touch with what we've all been looking forward to, so why be such a wet blanket? These are exciting times for most of us.
I'm no fan of 'modern football' myself but by heck I'm excited by next season.
I will savour every minute. As I will savour every moment left at Kenilworth Road.
You may think the spirit has gone out of football but the atmosphere at the second leg of the play off semi finals was the most intense I've ever known - in 60 years of going to Luton.
Nick Ames, Guardian reporter on his Twitter that night:
Nick Ames @NickAmes82 · 16 May Heard very few noises in a stadium quite like the utter pandemonium around me in here! Show this thread Nick Ames @NickAmes82 · 16 May Been to countless play-off games but Luton v Sunderland is as intense as it gets – almost unbelievable tempo and raw, relentless atmosphere.

Those comments from the Guardian journo are brilliant
All the match reports the morning after talked about the atmosphere of that Sunderland 2nd leg
"Ferocious, almost feral" was one description I recall - referring to the atmosphere that evening
I didn't realise you were so old. You write much younger. (Just an observation) Enjoy your upcoming season crumpsall. I don't know you , but you are clearly passionate about the present as much as the past. Stay healthy.
I'm pretty passionate about the past too, but life as a Luton fan has had few dull moments (Lennie Lawrence excepted) and the last few years have been unbelievable.
I loved non-league too and will never forget how brilliant some of the clubs we went to were.
And much as I love Pelly and loved Ricky Hill, Frenchie is still my all time favourite*
*yes, I was there that night v Mansfield and I expect you were too!
Much more recent than that buddy, as a friend to some proper Manc Man Utd fans. I can’t bear the way the game (at the top) has gone, but I’m delighted that we’re now a top tier team. But we’re different, obvs.

Really? Its not like they have two projects to contend with, the Bobbers being rebuilt and PC and all the complexities that is throwing at them. Its not like they have to bring in players that will compliment our playing style. Its not like they up to their necks in 1000 different things all urgent and needing to be sorted out.
