As a professional I have seen a lot of changes in the social side of the game. It is no longer a game for only the rich. The handicap system is great it means that no matter how good or bad you are you can play against each other. If football had a similar system I would back us to be Europe at the end of the season .coyh.

Spot on this. format have to cost a fortune. It's open to lots of people. It's a bloody hard support to be any good at though. You need real discipline to master it.

agree SH, it is also a game that you can play into your later years. when you can no longer play other sports, although walking football is becoming popular, Golf can be played into old age and still be competitive. there are choices, sit on the couch watching tv or play golf.
