New Les Sealey book

Apologies if iceberg, but I’ve just seen there’s a new biography of Les Sealey that got published last week. On Days Like These by Tim Rich is based on tapes Les recorded shortly before he died, which were only recently found and given to Les’ son, Joe. It’s apparently a superb book, though I’ve not read it yet. It’s published by Quercus.

A couple of days ago a fellow Manchester based Hatter told me the author was doing a talk/signing at the main (magnificent) Waterstones here - went in to get tickets and it was two weeks ago...'bugger' as Unlucky Alf would say!
