Surely there’s going to be a massive bun fight for the few 100 seats space in F block when they kick everyone out of oak road. Imagine going from oak road to having to sit in the Kenny. Rewarded for loyal support with being relocated to the library with a few old farts.
It’s not great. No wonder season ticket details are late out. Going to be a lot of piss*d off fans.

Nobody from the club has said anything remotely resembling "Oak Road fans will be kicked out". So stop s###-stirring. Idiot.

Re: Oak road

Odd that this type of stirring is allowed and the other thread was binned.
We were assured last week this allocation change wasn’t going to be the case.
Why would we give all that space to away fans and reduce our own numbers???
Re: Oak road
Posted by crumpsall on 5/6/2023, 20:39:29, in reply to "Re: Oak road "
Maybe binned because your mate was getting a bit personal, and not just about GS?
There are reasons why utter shite from trolls gets deleted

It’s not odd if you engage….this is a message board run by a few decent blokes who probably wish they didn’t have to spend so much time on here deleting vile comments. You then get idiots who need some attention posting total unfounded bollox and admin ( if they see it ) probably just sigh and expect sensible people to just ignore it. Hope that helps.
Re: Oak road
Posted by The NHS on 5/6/2023, 19:32:51, in reply to "Re: Oak road "
But this is serious situation.
If we give up all that end we give a significant advantage to away clubs and we also reduce our own fans by a few hundred at least for each game.
So to suggest we are doing that is very insulting and I would like to know who is suggesting this is possible.
The Oak Road has worked well for many seasons and we have no need to bow down to what the PL clubs want.
Re: Oak road
Posted by Garstang Hatter on 5/6/2023, 19:34:37, in reply to "Re: Oak road "
It's not a "serious situation". It's not even a "situation" yet. Maybe wait for the club to actually confirm exactly what is going on before getting too worked up about it, eh?
Re: Oak road

What is stopping them?
Re: Oak road
Posted by Garstang Hatter on 5/6/2023, 19:45:47, in reply to "Re: Oak road "
How should I know? I'm not the sort to claim to be "in the know". Someone did suggest earlier that they need to inform the box users first before making a public announcement, which seems to make sense but is still presumably guesswork.
Re: Oak road
Posted by The NHS on 5/6/2023, 19:51:49, in reply to "Re: Oak road "
So box holders are deemed more important?
If we were going to give 1800 to the away fans that would only work by taking out the boxes and making sufficient seats available to counter the loss and putting seats back in half of the Bobbers stand.
Perhaps box holders are being told this?
Re: Oak road
Posted by Garstang Hatter on 5/6/2023, 20:05:01, in reply to "Re: Oak road "
Box holders are certainly more relevant when it comes to news about the boxes, yes. I'm not sure, but didn't Oak Road season ticket holders get notified of the changes there before everyone else, last year? It's not about one group being more important than another, it's just basic common courtesy (in my opinion) to notify those who are directly impacted first.

Re: Oak road
Posted by The NHS on 5/6/2023, 19:56:22, in reply to "Re: Oak road "
True.
But whoever he is is getting it from somewhere and I am surprised the most informed on here are not more ITK.
The club could have put this trolling to bed over the past few days.
But they haven’t and not sure why.
As Joey said, this is fixable but hasn’t been fixed.

But whoever he is is getting it from somewhere
Or just completely making it up to shit stir.
The club could have put this trolling to bed over the past few days.
They are very busy - they might not even be aware that anyone has made up stories on here. Several senior members of staff have had a few well deserved days off. I know that details of season tickets were still being worked on late last week.
As I said earlier, I have no idea what is happening as far as box holders are concerned but it doesn't seem at all unreasonable that they should be the first to know.

Re: Oak road

If there's anything to say about the Oak, the boxes, or the away fans, the board will inform those affected. Any speculation by trolls and those wannabe ITK people who infest this board should be ignored by anyone with commonsense.

As has been said several times, they are speaking to box holders on Thursday, apparently.
You could argue that someone from the club should have been on here answering every rumour about players that we are supposedly going to sign.

how do you know?
Re: Oak road
Posted by Godders on 5/6/2023, 19:34:49, in reply to "Re: Oak road "
Anyone with half a brain cell should be able to figure it out.
We'be been told that a few extra seats will be available for the redeveloped bobbers stand giving a small increase in capacity. It won't be much as there isn't the space with all the requirements for media. As such, with prem league rules determining that 10% or 3,000 is the away allowance depending on which is lower (and other safety factors and police advice etc.) The away allocation isn't going to change much. Even if it's as much as an extra 500 seats, it will mean we have to only give 50 extra to away fans. That's nowhere near enough to justify giving away fans the whole 1,800 capacity (or even 1,500 for cup matches) of the Oak Road End.
That's how I know.
Re: Oak road

It’s not going to be as many as that I don’t think …something just over 200 I believe. Will find out more tomorrow evening but it looks like an option for any additional seat you already have ( in a box ) .

Away end split and ticket allocation remains as this season. Any small change in capacity because of changes in the Bobbers is irrelevant to the number we have to give to away fans
