The last time I watched a cup final was Wigan v Man City. The one before that was Villa v Chelsea. In the 80s and early 90s I never missed a single one.

So long ago that McManamanamanaman was MotM.
I am very much the same. Used to not only watch the game but the whole day's build up. I had forgotten that the final is tomorrow until it was mentioned in a report on the rail strikes.
At one time, it was just about the only game shown live.

The build up was great! Saint & Greavesy had a piece called My Dad's at Wembley. Players kids would talk about their famous footballer dads.
