It's more about the wage structure than what we can afford to pay one player. We can't pay him 30k a week and then expect others to be happy with a third of that. It goes against everything that's made us a success thus far.

This kid is a very good keeper, and I'd say he is on par with Henderson at Man Utd.

At least we are not interested in that knob Pickford - I hope

Yeah I like him as a player and he’s a good age with loads of potential, but he’s likely cost 75% or more of our realistic transfer budget and is relatively unproven. Plus he’ll probably have more ‘attractive’ offers from elsewhere, not just in UK either
