I wonder how many people on here making transfer suggestions were slagging the club off for having had a poor January window and how we are weaker than before!!!!
I'm sure Harford et Al will recruit wisely
The prem money sounds a lot but won't go far as Harford said this money will protect the club for 25/30 years

I guess that when no football is being played transfer gossip and speculation keeps forums rolling until the season start. I doubt it has a lasting and detrimental affact on the club or the players

So we're using Artificial Intelligence in our recruitment, we really are back in the big time.

Don’t mind the transfers rumours , usually rubbish anyway, not long ago wasn’t it our first game of the season we didn’t even know who was in our squad , first game of the season we had a bit of paper with players names on it that we got with our programmes , or am I imagining that ?

Teemu Pukki. Getting on a bit but excellent goal scoring record, out of contract and probably within our salary budget. Could do us a job for a season.
There is probably a message in that comment that we need to be mindful of.
We have a handful of players who have excelled, 2-3?
The rest are fantastic pros and the collective group is strong because of that.
However we can’t risk going into the PL season thinking that will be enough.
Very tricky balance required but RE and MH will get it right.

Pukki may only have scored 10 goals last season but that was in a mediocre side that spent most of the campaign camped in its own half passing the ball sideways and backwards. A good finisher, he could offer PL experience and a little Hylton-esque sh*thousery and wouldn't cost much.
