            I saw a reporter mention in the 1920's that he went to Reading FC (I think) and he got soaked and said that they needed a "Shilling Stand" or two - a stand with a roof which you paid a shilling admission. We got ours in the 30's and as someone said below - a shilling was called a "Bob" - Bobbers.
