Those that have supported the club through non-league deserve to enjoy this time more than most. That includes season ticket holders, iFollow subscribers, kit purchasers etc. It is now a new chapter for the club and the support base will have grown. 2020 need to find a way of keeping these new fans engaged without having Power Courts additional capacity.
Would a fan zone for each home game make sense?? Big screen showing the game, merchandise on sale, drinks food….

The gatekeeping from some on here recently has been abhorrent & its in stark contrast to the message the team/club are trying to put out.

Have I missed something? What message is the team/club trying to put out?

That everyone is welcome, the club is an integral part of the town and we benefit each other. No time for pushing people away. I think it's all obvious in what Gary Sweet in particular said yesterday.

Great idea for a sunny bank holiday weekend...but maybe not for a miserable February Friday night...
I like that you mentioned ifollow subs. Just because someone lives a long way away / can't get to games doesn't make them any less passionate supporter. I make it to 4-5 games a year, but watch almost all...

Love that.
It's only natural more people will take an interest when we're doing so well.

It's who we are isn't it.
Hearts of lions in unassuming forms.
Unsung heroes all over the place.
The town, the team, the club.
It's strange seeing the outside world waking up to what an extraordinary journey we've been on. And are on. They have no idea what it means.

After posting some pics of me and my boys at Wembley on farcebook I had a comment from an old school acquaintance who, apart from FB, I've had nothing to do with for over 30 years and she said this, "I immediately thought how pleased you'd be, somethings you just never forget - you were always very vocal about Luton at QEGS."
QEGS being the acronym for our school and remember this was in rural Derbyshire!

I`ve probably seen less games this season than I did in the conference. I saw some fans Saturday who looked like they were going clubbing, not to a match. But I also saw absolute shear unbridled joy and delirium .One of my nephews was a man u fan last year, a chelsea fan this year. He does have a Luton kit as well (yeah me). He is 7. He could yet be turned. We are now a premier league club. We will get younger and older fans jumping on then badwagon. If they stay on it , superb! And some will!
I know we have an entitled "i was there when it was shit" mentality. #### me i`d have been annoyed id i couldnt get a ticket saturday and a glory hunter had. but glory hunters are a price you pay. and a reward. be nice to keep some of them. We all start somewhere.

Top post.
Btw can't you just keep the PBH bit rather than adding the NL? Afterall aren't you now just a Peterborough based hatter as opposed to Portsmouth?

Many people who now claim to be Luton supporters couldn't give a toss 10 years ago. Its such a shame for people to be clinging on to our success now when it suits them. I see even the Mayor today was jumping into the glory aswell. All the people who were at Wembley on Saturday and The Town center today love the success whilst hiding their true team and it really is sickening. If we hadn't gone up we wouldn't have got these so called fans out in force and claiming to be fans.
The everyday people who really cared are the ones who paid for STs etc whilst still in NL and carried on doing so. The people who still paid for a ST during Covid and the people who bought ifollow.
If we were still in the lower leagues now they wouldn't give a shit. They are just trying to make out its their team and their town which is bollocks.

Errr, some of us bought season tickets in NL and were at Wembley on Saturday. Some of those at Wembley on Saturday have attended matches when they could, being unable for whatever reasons (finances, location, etc.) to be on the ST list. Just stop making assumptions.

You've nailed it.
The boxers, Linus(Southampton) and Reynolds (West ham). The lad making a tidy sum from Luton fans with his artwork, Swift? He's Man City.
Glory hunting wankers.

Just the nature of modern life, but we do need more supporters and more younger supporters specifically.
If you stuck with it through all the lows you earned these highs.
I do roll my eyes at some of those that give it the biggun on social media who vanished when the going got tough but they know who they are and they must feel a bit of a fraud now

Got to say I was amazed at the amount of youth who were at Sunderland for the 1st leg of the play off. I was surrounded by them, couldn't care less about allocated seats as about 3 tried to take mine! Went absolutely mental when we took the lead. I'd say our support is reasonably healthy going forward from what I also see around the wider community. And promotion has definitely helped.

We have a lot of pensioners, who will need replacing, that’s why it’s good to see a load a youngsters at Wembley and in town today.
We need to double our season ticket holders for PC

Every club has a load of older support. We're no different to any other fanbase in that respect
Mind you, the elderly is all there is in Chelsea's support

And to do that we'll need to engage people who may not have been engaged in the past.
Aside from what they've achieved with the guys on the green, 2020 have done a brilliant job at making the club part of the community and realising it's not just about the 9,000 who come through the gate on a match day. No other ownership group has paid any attention to this, frankly most of them seemed to hate the supporters that did turn up, let alone anyone who didn't.

I do think I’m some ways the local long term supporters are taken for granted, in favour of boxers, cricketers, pop “stars” , councillors, community bluffers etc etc
